After a week of media and sports analyst going back and forth on this weeks match up, New Orleans hosting New England, New Orleans rolls through with no problem bringing their record to a perfect 11-0 on the season. Drew Brees played a perfect game, throwing 5 touchdowns and 0 Interceptions. (The only semi-negative thing about that was my opponent in my fantasy league started Brees and the cost me a lost.) Following this seasons routine, Brees’ 5 touchdown completions were to 5 different receivers. The saints have weapons across the field and truly exploit them all! After re-signing only a week ago, Mike McKenzie made his return in the Saints secondary and played an amazing game which included a momentum changing interception! Next weeks opponent is the Washington Redskin, who currently hold a losing record.
Can New Orleans be stopped? Can this be the first undefeated season in Franchise history? How will we hold up in the post season? These are the questions everyone is beginning to ask. But the same simple answer remains from all saints fans… WHO DAT!!!!!

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the hottest video game out right now! I have recently bought it for the Xbox 360 and the only complaint I have is my lack of sleep because I keep playing. I believe this is the best first person shooter game made. Modern warfare 2 has most of the same features that the first modern warfare included with additional perks. The maps seem to be more open which allows for more even games. It is much harder to stay, or camp, in one spot and not be reached. Maps include snow, desert, mountain, city, airport, and single building levels. The campaign is based on the United States CIA conflict with Russia. The online game play is unsurpassed. Match making is very easy single or in a party and the tactical team events are very well matched. It is much harder to get high kill streaks than in the previous game. The game is very violent so I would suggest the player to be able to handle extreme gore and violence. I would suggest this game to anyone. If you do not have an Xbox 360, the game is also available on Sony’s Playstation 3 and the PC. Well I’m going play, let me know if you have any questions are would like to know more about the game!

• The cultural differences especially focused on China’s communism
• The hardships with America and China over American being allies with Taiwan
• Chinese strongly looking forward and investing hard to send someone to the moon
• And how China may or may not change as they continue to rise.

NO SaintsThe saints were off to a very slow start on today’s game against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins came out striking first with a Ricky Williams 4 yard touchdown run.  The PAT kick by Dan Carpenter put Miami up 7-0. The saints were able to retaliate and John Carney kicked a 46 yard field goal to bring the score to 7-3. Ricky Williams wasted no time bursting out for a 68 yard touchdown run on Miamis first play. The first quarter came to the end with the Dolphins pretty much dominating the Saints, 14-3.

Most of the second quarter was controlled by the Dolphins, much like the first. Miami kicked a 32 yard field goal. After a quick unsuccessful Saints possession, Ronnie Brown had an 8 yard touchdown run bringing the score to 24-3. With under a minute left in the first half, the saints put together an impressive drive which Brees completed a pass to Colston. After initially being called a touchdown, the play was reviewed and overturned. It was placed on the one yard line. During the review, Drew Brees convinced Saints head coach Sean Peyton to go for the touchdown instead of taking the almost guaranteed field goal. The gamble paid off as Brees successfully leaped over the goal line for the touchdown.  The John Carney extra point brought it to a two possession game with the score 24-10 still in favor of Miami but gave the Saints the momentum going into the second half.

The saints began the second half strong with a Darren Sharper, 42 yard Interception return for a touchdown bringing the score within 7. After holding the Dolphins to a field goal on the next drive, the saints put together another impressive drive ending with a 10 yard Brees-Colston connection for a touchdown bringing the score to 27-24. The Dolphins, Ricky Williams slowed the Saints momentum ending the third quarter by scoring a 4 yard touchdown run. This touchdown was Williams’s third touchdown run on the day and extended Miami’s lead back to 34-24.

The fourth quarter began with the saints striking within the first two minutes. Reggie Bush ran for a 10 yard leaping touchdown bringing the score back with three, 34-31. After a quick three and out for the Dolphins, the saints put together another impressive drive ending with a Drew Brees 2 yard quarterback sneak for a touchdown giving the Saints their first lead of the game. The extra point kicked was missed giving the saints only a 3 point lead, making it possible for Miami to tie the game with a field goal. From this point forward, the Saints never looked back. John Carney hit a 20 yard field goal followed by an interception returned for a touchdown by Tracey Poter on Miami’s next possession was icing on the cake. The final score ended with a victory for the New Orleans Saints, 46-34.  This victory keeps New Orleans undefeated with a record of 6-0!  Who dat? Who dat? Who dat say they gonna beat dem saints?

I finally was able to go play some basketball tonight. I usually play every Wednesday night, but since my decision to pursue my MBA, I had to study for my GMAT. Now that my intense studying is completed, I can be back to some type of routine. It sure felt good to run, but I must admit I have the task of getting back in some type of shape ahead of me. It’s funny how you can be active for an extensive period of time and as soon as you take a couple months off it’s all gone. I suppose it’s the same concept with gaining and losing weight. Being a person with a slower metabolism, I have to really try to lose some weight and not slack up. And as soon as I do it’s all back. Oh well, that’s how it goes, but that’s okay because now I can get back on track! Well, you all have a great day. Feel free to leave me a comment about anything!
